Marinated Salmon on Cedar Plank

Serves 2-4

Ingredients: 

2-4, 5 oz salmon portions, skin on

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp rice wine vinegar

1⁄2 tbsp minced garlic

1⁄2 tbsp minced ginger

1 tbsp mirin (optional)

2 tsp toasted sesame oil

2 scallions, thinly sliced plus more for garnish


Preparation:

Option 1: Marinate salmon by combining ingredients and pouring over salmon. Marinate at room temp for 20-30 mins or refrigerate up to overnight. Salmon can be smoked over soaked cedar plank on a grill at 350F for 15-20 mins and finished in a 400F oven.

Option 2: You can also grill the salmon on Wolf Charbroiler, skin side down, for 5-7 minutes then finish in a 400F oven.

Option 3: You can also place marinated salmon on a sheet pan and roast in 400F Wolf Oven for 12-15 minutes depending on the desired doneness.

Place marinade in a small saucepan and reduce gently over medium-high heat until 3 tablespoons or so remain. Remove from heat and drizzle over salmon. Top with sliced scallions.
