Grilled Ginger Honey Glazed Shrimp
This easy and delectable shrimp recipe comes together quickly and with minimum effort, making it a perfect weekday meal for you and your family. The Wolf grill cooks your shrimp, tail on or off, perfectly in just 3 minutes! Add a little sweetness to your life with the delicious ginger honey glaze. The ginger glaze is made up of common ingredients you probably already have stored in your fridge or pantry, a luxurious recipe made convenient.
Serve these delicate little shrimp as either a light appetizer, roast some fresh vegetables and turn them into skewers, or serve over rice for a heartier meal. 1 1/2 Ib 16-20 count shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lime, zested, and juiced
1 tablespoon of oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat Wolf grill or Wolf chargrill over medium-high heat. Remove tails if desired from the shrimp and combine with lime juice, oil and salt, and pepper. Grill the shrimp for about 90 seconds on each side until just cooked through. Toss with glaze and serve.
Ginger Honey Glaze
Makes about 1 1/4 cups
1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup mild honey
1/2 cup ketchup
1 1/2 tablespoons hot sauce, such as Tabasco
4 large garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons minced peeled ginger
1 teaspoon salt
Stir together all sauce ingredients in a 3-quart heavy saucepan and briskly simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until thickened and reduced to about 1 1/4 cups, 35 to 45 minutes. (Stir frequently toward the end of cooking to prevent sticking.)
