Steamed Crab Legs

Introduction

Preparing crab legs at home may seem daunting but, with the Wolf Convection Steam Oven, master this technique in under 15 minutes. Add a quick, flavored melted butter for dipping and achieve a restaurant-quality seafood dish for family meals or a dinner party with friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds snow crab clusters
  • 1 lemon
  • 8 ounces butter
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Instructions

Preheat the Wolf Convection Steam Oven to 210°F on Steam Mode.

Place the crab legs on the perforated oven pan for the Wolf Convection Steam Oven. Place sliced lemons on the pan with the legs and sprinkle everything with Old Bay seasoning.

When the Wolf Convection Steam Oven is done preheating, place the pan on rack position 2 for 12 minutes.

While the crab legs are cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan with the garlic and set aside.

When the crab legs are done cooking, remove them from the Wolf Convection Steam Oven and sprinkle with Old Bay seasoning and lemon juice. Serve with a side of melted garlic butter and enjoy.
