- 12 ounces linguine, reserve 1 cup of pasta water
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pinch chili flakes
- 1 cup diced tomatoes, canned or fresh
- 1 cup white wine
- 13 ounces chopped clams, two 6.5-ounce cans
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons chopped parsley
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- lemon wedges, for serving
